Shavu'ot was a few Shavu'ot (weeks) ago and I tried a few uncheeses recipes for the holiday.
I've made the crock cheez from the uncheese cookbook, both the basic version and the smoked version. It tasted like blended tofu, which is basically what it was. I don't recommand that recipe.
I also tried the gooda cheez from the same book. It doesn't taste a lot like cheese, but it's fairly good. I recommand using less cumin or not at all because its taste can easily take over the whole thing.
gooda cheez

gooda cheezI made my garlic-dill cheese spread again. This time I blended the cheese to make it extra smooth. And I used too much garlic, it was hot!
Another uncheese I made is the buffalo mostarella. I made one regular, one with olives and one with chilli powder.

I made this recipe many times in the past without knowing it was from this book (Someone posted it online) and I love it. It's simple and tasty.
I used the leftovers to make lasagna.
